With its 26,000 students, 20% of which are international, its 2,000 faculty members and its 92 research laboratories, it is a major actor of European higher education and research. The School of Dental Medicine, referred to as “Garancière” after its street’s name, accommodates 100 new students every year. After completing 3 years of preclinical training, students start their clinical practice in the two dental departments of Rothschild hospital and Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital. The Evidence Based Dentistry approach is integrated to the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate curriculum.
